Alphacam - International Account Manager

The Role

The role is part of Hexagon Production Software’s strategic business development activity in the EMEA region and is an integral part of achieving the company’s revenue growth targets. This role will necessitate the formation of strong business relationships across a range of account types. Excellent communication skills are required especially in order to report effectively regarding activities, sales forecasting and in providing latest market information. It is a pre-requisite to have direct sales experience with excellent persuasive and interpersonal skills. A good understanding of manufacturing processes is required, with an appreciation of CADCAM.

The Applicant

Education & Experience:

A manufacturing/business related education with some acquired experience of positive management of relationships in direct and indirect markets in the international arena.
A good understanding of manufacturing processes with an appreciation of CADCAM.


Strong Client Relationship Management Skills
Direct Sales Experience
Solid knowledge of Manufacturing Processes
Appreciation of CAD/CAM software (preferably Vero brands), its applications and associated processes
Excellent communication skills
Strong Influencing skills
Ability to collaborate and work well with others
Good financial understanding
Good commercial skills
Good organization and planning skills
Delivers results
Competent with Microsoft Office applications and SFDC
Able to travel extensively for business throughout the region

The Requirements

To develop positive relationships with the key stakeholders and partners relevant to the business
To ensure effective and appropriate communication at all levels within the company
Share product, market, competitor knowledge with colleagues and management
Ensure all activities comply with company procedures, standards and policies ensuring that the company’s image and reputation is maintained
To provide reports on activities, opportunities and issues arising as required.


To achieve targeted revenue and growth
Contribute towards the setting of business objectives
Provide a monthly activity report
To effectively manage expenditure and costs
Be a key contributor in the formulation of business development strategy
Effectively implement strategies for targeted business development and revenue growth
Provide commercial support and assistance to existing resellers
Target and sign new resellers and support them throughout the induction process ensuring that they are effective within the shortest possible time
Monitor performance against KPI/Targets, recommending and/or taking appropriate action when these fall below expectations
Instigate and execute specific marketing activities
Provide feedback on market information together with customers’ and partners’ product requirements
