January 28, 2011, Cabinet Vision France, along with Systell Alphacam, Homag France, Leitz France and a customer, Guérineau Agencement organized a full day of live demonstrations of cabinet production and engraving on CNC machines and Nesting machines using Cabinet Vision and Alphacam.

Guerineau Agencement is well equipped with Homag machines and Leitz tools which enabled Cabinet Vision France and Systell Alphacam to have a strong partnership with Homag and Leitz and have a longer reach of potential prospects coming from them.
 

Many clients and prospects were contacted through a mass-mailing using Malcom and thanks to an advert inserted in a French magazine.  The turnout was positive as many came to meet the organisers and see the products and options available.

Two sessions of live demonstrations were given, one in the morning and one in the afternoon in order to allow as many people as possible to participate.  Most people stayed for both sessions and were offered lunch, around which participants and organisers could exchange information about machines, tools, software and production techniques.

As nesting is not very common in France, many were curious and interested in seeing it live.  Using Cabinet Vision and Alphacam we were able to show the full potential of nesting along with the compatibility with the Planit software by producing cabinets with blind dado assemblies and complex engraving live.
 

Following the nesting demonstration, another cabinet was produced on the panel saw and point to point, modifying its shape.  The participants were given the opportunity to compare both production methods and see new assembly methods.  Thanks to the well equipped client most Cabinet Vision features were demonstrated including label-image.
 

The event was a success for all parties. The client gave a tour of his plant and could proudly show his installations and all his equipment to colleagues and clients.  Leitz and Homag had a good opening as the client is fully equipped with top of the line tools and machines.  And Cabinet Vision France along with Systell Alphacam could produce a full project and show the capabilities of the software.

The event was talked about and as a result, other machinery suppliers and clients are very interested in participating in further open houses.
