Alphacam Proves Major Hit At Ligno Novum Exhibition

Alphacam, a leading supplier of CAD/CAM software for the woodworking industry, exhibited at the Ligno Novum exhibition in Budapest, where many woodworkers would discover the value of the software for the very first time.

Alphacam’s main distributor in Hungary, Enterprise Communications Magyarország Kft, attended the event to showcase the software’s diverse range of functionality and technology to the wood industry.

Organised by the X-Meditor Kft, the Ligno Novum exhibition is the largest woodworking event in Hungary, held at the Hungexpo. The theme of the event consisted of woodworking machinery, CNC technology, machine and hand tools, Design and production software and much more.

Despite the diverse range of products and services on show, Alphacam was the only CAD/CAM supplier to attend and it provided the chance to demonstrate just how powerful the software can be to businesses operating in the woodworking sector.

Tibor Veres, a Technical Engineer at Enterprise, said “the show gave us a great opportunity to show more woodworkers than ever before, just how valuable Alphacam can be to their business. We also managed to establish our name with some leading CNC Machine companies who are looking to use Alphacam in the near future so all in all, it was a generally successful show for us”.

Following the success of the show, Enterprise took to a media room to record a 1 hour demonstration focused on machine automation in woodworking, which also demonstrated the  parametric sketcher and Automation manager; two new functionalities that have been added to the latest release, Alphacam 2016 R1.
