Alphacam, by Vero Software, to be Exhibited at Coverings 2017, April 4-7, Orlando, Fla.The innovative Alphacam solution for the manufacturing of stone, wood, and metal, by Vero Software, will be exhibited April 4-7 at Coverings 2017, hosted at the Orange County Con-vention Center in Orlando, Fla.
For nearly three decades, Coverings has been North America’s largest event for the ceramic tile and natural stone industry. Each year, tile and stone professionals attend Coverings to see thousands of new products, new international suppliers, and the latest in industry devel-opments and technologies.
Coverings participants are encouraged to learn more about Alphacam at Booth No. 2498, where live demonstrations of the software’s latest upgrades will be demonstrated.
Among advancements in Alphacam 2017 R1 is a significant enhancement to the stone saw-ing feature, which reduces the risk of error. The latest version of the software offers the ability to check for fouling against all geometries selected for the same operation, and tool-paths are trimmed as needed.
The addition of this feature means that parts can be laid out on one piece of stone and sawed in the same operation with the use of the new automatic fouling check. The operator can use the new toolpath extensions tool with options for extending saw paths. This is par-ticularly useful in stone operations for which saw cuts can be extended to just outside the sheet in order to prevent plunging of the saw.
Part of the Vero Software Group, Alphacam is a leading CAM solution for wood, stone, composites and metal components from 2-axis through 5-axis NC programming applications. The emphasis behind the development of Alphacam is to provide our customers with productivity, reliability and flexibility.
