Automated Parametric Manufacturing

Automated Parametric Manufacturing (APM) is a new window and entry door program for Alphacam. This powerful parametric program enables windows and entry doors to be created and edited from a user-defined library of designs, saving valuable time in the manufacturing process. The user-defined library means greater flexibility and increased productivity by removing the bottleneck in the design stage.

APM enables window and door manufacturers to take full advantage of Alphacam, the comprehensive CAD/CAM system for use with Microsoft Windows platforms. Alphacam integrates with any production control software and all CNC machines.

APM  provides users with a made-to-order solution for individual sizing and enables each window or door to be specified individually providing opportunities for premium pricing.

Flexibility is a key feature, ensuring that even the shortest runs can be achieved without any loss in efficiency. Simply select a window or door design from either the user-defined library and add the required parameters.

A link with Alphacim enables an order entry facility that provides information for built-in, fully customizable bar coding and part labeling functions, as well as for the generation of production management reports and cutting lists.
